OOC NOTE -

Fina, while not elitests by any means, is a selective roleplaying group. We reserve the right to expell any and all persons who do not maintain our ideas of Gorean roleplay. We are a blunt group of persons and do not take it personally. There are other places that will welcome less-than roleplay.

Happy gaming.

Welcome to the Port City of Fina

The party from the desert city of Turmas traveled for vars on end. City to city, seeking a home. A place to grow, to build, to thrive. So many found lacking, some coming close then falling short. Weary travelers seeking a respite. Along the Vosk their journey carried them. A line of cities visited. One by one, left behind. In the distance, dark smoke filled the skies. The men of the traveling party demanded the barge captain to pull to shore. Swords drawn, they set foot on the banks of Fina to offer aid in defending her. The city was left to ruin, gutted, smoldering ashes. Whispers on the winds told the story. The citizens had done this, infected with the deadly mun-madness plague. They moved through her streets, to many she may have been left to die slowly. Kendar Agazzi, his companion at his side, wept for Fina and her citizens. Hand in hand they inspected the remaining structures. The fire had swept the markets, the residential district. There was hope. They moved into the center of the city. Her administration cylinder stood tall, proud, steady. It was there, Kendar's boot unearthed from the ash a stone. Leaning over to inspect it, an ost hissed, coiled around the stone protectively. At that same ihn a cry from above as a herit circled. He rose with the stone in hand, proclaiming then, "The Kings have spoken! This land is to be saved. She is protected at her base by the ost and guarded above by the herlit! In the King's name I claim Fina and to her, the oath of my sword!" And so it was. He placed the flags and alone for the passing of twenty ahns he alone guarding her. By right, Fina is his. By his sworn oath she was resurrected. Hail Fina!
