OOC Guidelines
Any persons who fail to observe the following guidelines will be placed immediately on city-wide ignore - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Guidelines for the Player Group of Fina are OOC and serve to define the role-play for the mun players of characters to allow a more cohesive unified platform from which to develop Story Lines. They are based on the universal GL's of the forum, with minor modifications for each Role Play group. Questions or requests for information regarding GL's of Fina may be directed to the Ubar, City Swords, or the Magistrate.
General Principles ~ City RP
The City of Fina and its citizens will act in accordance to the Norman Scrolls as closely as possible at all times. Keep in mind that adherence to the scrolls are the primary consideration coupled with realistic Role Play for all citizens, and that how you act in the AOL common rooms reflects on all of our citizens reputations.
Issues for consideration or clarification of the scrolls or policy uncovered in this list of Guidelines may be brought before the Ubar/High Council as applicable.
Mun Consent
The entering of role-play constitutes mun consent.
If you take any action in a SL once begun ( i.e. trying to escape, or evading ) then you consent to the outcome of the SL.
There is to be absolute minimal OOC in the rooms, typo corrections of course are excepted from this, Keep OOC to IMs solely. If you must go afk, state such - Upon returning, simply resume role-play, typing "back" which encourages a string of "wb's" and "ty's" is not necessary.
Dice Rolling: Dice rolling is to be kept to a base minimum, only rolling for things such as a thief's pick pocket attempt, a man capturing another man, the skill of fighting, etc. If at all possible, role-play the situation, instead of rolling it.
Do NOT role-play an event, log it, send it out, have a mun squabble then void it. You always have options IC and OOC...whining and voiding should not be considered one of them.
All rooms of Fina will be so marked by the use of "Fina" in the room name.
The following is NOT Allowed
(Note below is all inclusive)
Crossing:
The act of taking information from another Mun owned character and utilizing the information by another mun owned character in a SL.
Blurring:
The act of mixing / confusing out of character knowledge with the in character plot and play.
Flaming:
OOC insults to another mun in email, IM, or message board
Mun Harassment:
OOC demands of another player that have nothing to do with in character {ie:: personal information, etc.,} attacks, stalking, that continues or exists after one party has asked to be left alone. :NOTE: this does not include citywide/caste emails, discussion unless one or more of the above is brought into play.
